3415 Steam Engine

3415 is one of three operational, former Santa Fe steam locomotives and the only operating steam locomotive in the state of Kansas. The railroad plans to power their excursion train with the locomotive one weekend a month on its 5 mile long route from Abilene to Enterprise.

The Abilene & Smoky Valley Railroad depot is the former Rock Island depot. It is located at 200 SE 5th, in Old Abilene Town, directly south of the Eisenhower Presidential Library and Museum.
